Arflin and Mewlin Muzzle harness
Do you have a naughty puppy that needs to be muzzled? A kitty being a bit of a brat? Now you can give them a strap muzzle for a bit more control!
Includes blendshapes for all the visemes and expressions. I prefer adding it through blender, but it can also be added with Unity. I have included videos for both methods.
Materials match my harness made for the Arflin and Mewling, so they look good together (does not include the main body harness). Uses Poiyomi Toon Shader V8.0. Includes a Substance painter file to make your own edits. It's quest compatible!
Unity Installation (first video) (better if you don't know Blender or your avatar is unpacked in Unity)
- Drag the fbx onto the root of the avatar and add a material
- Drag onto the head bone to parent it
- Use the Avatar 3.0 Manager to combine the Viseme controller to the FX controller
- (Optional) If you use the default face gestures, merge the included gesture controller to your FX controller
- Use the Avatar 3.0 emulator to test if everything works correctly.
Blender Installation (second video) (better for performance, fewer animations, and easier to setup custom gestures)
- Import your avatar fbx and muzzle fbx in blender
- Select first the muzzle mesh, then the body mesh while holding shift
- Ctrl+J to join the meshes together so that the blendshapes control both
- Assign the muzzle mesh to the head vertex group
- Re-export the fbx to Unity (add leaf bones off)
- Toggle the muzzle on/off with the "Hide Muzzle" blendshape on the Body
